3 series are cheeper and dont have the same features a a five series

I think you have to look at this situation from a broad perspective. I recently bought a new 3 series and have no complaints at all about it. And I know many people who own BMW 3 series cars and have no problems with them either. The fact is that no car is perfect. You may be lucky enough to buy one and never have any problems at all with it for as long as you own it. But they are machines, and after a while you’re going to have one problem with them or another.

I think it depends on a number of other things, too. Many people who own BMWs like to think of them as ‘performance’ cars, and they race the cars and drive them hard. As much as the 3 series is a staunch performer, its also a delicate piece of engineering. If you handle the car rough then its going to need more repairs sooner. Routine maintenance on a new BMW costs nothing because the factory warranty covers most things.

Some people also regularly put low grade fuel in the car to save money, and when the engine gets messed up they complain.

Another thing to remember is that all luxury cars typically come with a a lot of fancy electronics and gadgetry, and some of these things are often the first to go—but, again, they are covered by the factory warranty. Its really not a big deal. All you have to do is drive the car to the dealership (or they will tow it in), and while they’re fixing it they give you a loaner. What you would have to be concerned about is driving the car after it goes off warranty, and unless you buy an extended warranty from the manufacturer then all the expenses will be out of pocket. This is true not only of BMW, but also of Mercedes, Lexus and all the others.

o.k. i' ve die bmw' drijft; s voor enkele ogenblikken nu. Zij zijn GOED terwijl het duurt, beste prestaties/prijs verhouding als u met Benz of audi vergelijkbaar bent.

MAAR verkoop altijd uw bimmer na 2-3 jaar, kosten zij meer om audi EN Benz van Mercedes dan te herstellen. Zij zijn enkel complex te voor huidige dagtechnologie, kunnen teveel dingen verkeerd gaan en wat u can' t reparatie zonder nieuw materiaal te kopen.

Materiaal moest ik vervangen:
Verwarmingssysteem
Handschoenenkastje (omdat de lente en het won' brak; open t, moest een geheel nieuw geval) kopen
idrive.!!!

*i ken ook een vriend met 5 reeksen en zijn motor enkel het tegengehouden werken. ter plekke, hij doesn' t zelfs gekke de aandrijving, iets binnenkant brak zodat bevestigde hij het en verkocht het. dan gebruikte hij aan geld om een audi te kopen.
